چکیده
When magnetic atoms are inserted inside a superconductor, the superconducting order is locally depleted as result of antagonistic nature magnetism and superconductivity. Thereby, distinctive spectral features, known Yu–Shiba–Rusinov states, appear gap. The search for states in different materials intense, they can be used building blocks to promote Majorana modes suitable topological quantum computing. Here, first observation graphene, non-superconducting 2D material, without participation atoms, reported. Superconductivity graphene induced by proximity effect brought adsorbing nanometer-scale Pb islands. Using scanning tunneling microscopy spectroscopy gap measured visualized grain boundaries. results reveal very special those which extends more than 20 nm away from These observations provide long-sought experimental confirmation that boundaries host local moments constitute chemically pure system.

Superconducting states of pure and doped graphene.
We study the superconducting phases of the two-dimensional honeycomb lattice of graphene. We find two spin singlet pairing states; s wave and an exotic p+ip that is possible because of the special structure of the honeycomb lattice. At half filling, the p+ip phase is gapless and superconductivity is a hidden order. We discuss the possibility of a superconducting state in metal coated graphene.
متن کاملObservation of unconventional edge states in 'photonic graphene'.
Graphene, a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice of carbon atoms, has been attracting much interest in recent years. Electrons therein behave as massless relativistic particles, giving rise to strikingly unconventional phenomena. Graphene edge states are essential for understanding the electronic properties of this material. However, the coarse or impure nature of the graphene edges hampers the ab...

متن کاملNear-Zero Modes in Superconducting Graphene
Vortices in the simplest superconducting state of graphene contain very low energy excitations, whose existence is connected to an index theorem that applies strictly to an approximate form of the relevant Bogoliubov-deGennes equations. When Zeeman interactions are taken into account, the zero modes required by the index theorem are (slightly) displaced. Thus the vortices acquire internal struc...
